I LOVE CLASSICAL MUSIC.
ive been listening to a lot of it lately.
Chopin's Nocturne, Mozart's Piano Sonata 11, George Winston's Pachalbel Canon D...
beethoven, bach, vivaldi..they take me back to the days when my private piano tutor would sit with me in my room as i play the piano for hours, and hit my hand with a plastic sprite bottle or a hard pencil every time i sucked. she would train me to pull my fingers in hopes of stretching them out so that my 5 year old hands could reach all the notes. it sounds like torture now but back then i loved my piano lessons. i still remember sitting straight in front of the piano while my tutor watched me, and i would look forward to the 5 minute break when my mom would bring in a cup of orange juice and maybe some cookies. i played the piano ever since i was 5, until i was 19. i stopped and didnt complete my performers diploma exam. and i even rejected the offer from LaSalle (this art academy in S'pore). i wonder how life would be for me if ive insisted and persued my dream as a professional orchestral pianist.
its weird looking back now, sometimes u remember things about ur life and it feels as tho it never happened.ive just trimmed my nails, in hope that my soon-to-be 21 year old fingers would do its magic on the keyboard once more.

one random thot-
the world has a way of constantly telling you that you need all things right in your life to be happy. you need that job, that apt, that look. it always tries to turn your eyes to the things that are lacking in your life, instead of letting you see the beauty thats already there. the world just wants you to consume more and try harder, instead of letting you just be.
and when the world tries to make you dwell on the missing and broken pieces of your life, the most rebellious thing u can do is : being completely content in God alone.
no kidding, ive been pretty individually religious lately. sometimes i thot God even appeared in my dreams - a way He use to send messages to the mortals. and ive also been dreaming bout my grandpa lately. shiet, God and grandpa, that's definitely not a good sign.
i can only imagine, how life would be for me; having nothing, and yet possessing everything.

cirque du soleil was awesome. i din quite get the story tho. but i did enjoy myself even tho i was exhausted from the flight. thanks b!

mom and bro's leaving for vancity tmr for hols (followed by dad the very nx day). wish i could join but owell, ill be doing another yvr flight again on the 25th. so it's ALL GOOOOOOOD!!

we watched Pirates of the Carribean 2 plus the Superman Return. a movie marathon. we managed to sneak into another house for Superman Return so we actually caught that for free :] Pirates II wasnt as good as the first one, i nearly fell asleep at some parts. Superman was SUPERRRPP!! im officially in love with superman <3 <3

B said that's the best seat we can get. it's like almost completely sold out for the entire week! it'd better be worth the money :]
